@MikeyNXS @ModestTeacher @coachnickk This!!! Students need to process the information, translate it, and turn it into knowledge. Learning, especially mathematics, is more about learning HOW, WHY, WHEN… not just getting an answer. Paper and pencil can aide this process more than any computer based lessons..

@ga_sc_nole @sage_stage So sad how public education is considered as an old lost pedagogy.

@ga_sc_nole @sage_stage Let me guess, Chat GPT is the way students write their research papers from now on since it’s virtual/online?

@heymrsbond But this should have been caught by the SPED/IEP caseworker. All of my friends and colleagues are aware of teachers that are struggling with their caseload of students. You are not to blame. Sometimes we are more critical of ourselves during afterthought!

@HeyListenGames We got pizza and salad yesterday from a supportive local church and today we had Chick-fil-a from a locally owned business (but was about 30 min. late). I also got a Sonic card from a student! 😊

@MNmMath Exactly! I hate that “short cuts don’t stick”! Teach them WHY! I really hate “cross-multiply” and “Butterfly”!

@edtechmathteach Say it loud for those in the back, girl! Been there many times in 24 years of teaching! I considered something else than teaching like an actuary too. I didn’t want to pay for that many tests and take more than necessary college credits!💰🤑

@druinok I’m in the same boat as you! Too many absences and makeup work put me extremely behind with the grading. I’m tired and have a sore throat, headache, cough… I’m soooo done!
