Ob eine Ein-, Zwei-, Drei- oder Vierstaatenlösung am Ende die Konsequenz davon ist, dass Israel keine Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit mehr verübt, ist doch erstmal völlig egal. Als erstes müssen Apartheid, Besatzung, Vertreibung und Genozid enden.
Staaten haben kein „Existenzrecht“. Der Debatte wäre geholfen wenn man aufhören würde tendenziöse Leerformeln mit Fakten zu verwechseln
Zur Stunde berät die Fraktion der Linken im Abgeordnetenhaus, ob ihr eine Frau angehören kann, die das Existenzrecht Israels leugnet. Die Berliner Wähler hat das nicht gestört, im Gegenteil: Vanessa Emde hat damit geworben und ihren Wahlkreis in Neukölln direkt gewonnen. 👇
Man merkt es der Linkspartei nicht unbedingt an – aber das war das Wahlergebnis in Berlin
Wann stellt die Linke endlich die Gegenfrage: Welche Verantwortung trägt eigentlich der ÖRR selbst? Über Jahre wurde die israelische Regierungspolitik viel zu oft staatsnah & unkritisch begleitet. Während in Gaza Zehntausende Menschen getötet, Familien vertrieben & im Westjordanland völkerrechtswidrige Siedlungen ausgebaut wurden, lieferte Deutschland weiterhin Waffen. Eine UN-Untersuchungskommission spricht inzwischen ausdrücklich von Völkermord! Und ausgerechnet jetzt wird die Linke in Interviews regelmäßig mit Hamas, Terrorismus, Israels Existenzrecht und Antisemitismus konfrontiert. Warum wird nicht ebenso hartnäckig über die eigene Berichterstattung gesprochen? Darüber, wie Begriffe wie „Free Palestine“ oder „From the river to the sea“ verwendet, interpretiert und teilweise pauschal eingeordnet werden, obwohl der konkrete Kontext entscheidend ist? Liebe @inesschwerdtner, wann dreht ihr endlich den Spieß um? Wann stellt ihr den Moderator*innen die Frage, welchen Anteil ihre Berichterstattung daran hat, dass hierzulande so wenig differenziert über Palästina, Besatzung und Völkerrecht diskutiert wird? Wer ständig andere über Antisemitismus belehrt, muss sich auch der kritischen Aufarbeitung seiner eigenen journalistischen Maßstäbe stellen!
Die linke Direktkandidatin Vanessa Emde hat gleiche Rechte für Palästinenser gefordert. Daran lassen die Grünen und die SPD nun vielleicht die Koalition scheitern. Mehr muss man nicht wissen.
