The regulators were there until SVB lobbied Congress to remove the guardrails that prevent this kind of crisis in the first place. Warnings were everywhere. SVB, like many gamblers before them, knew what they were doing. Let the FDIC open the books & see what it’s working with.

This should really mark the end of the “benevolent billionaire” myth. Not only did Musk pay $44 billion for Twitter when he could’ve ended starvation globally with that money, he also has already literally backed out of a $6 billion promise to the UN to help solve world hunger.

@socio_melissa Also “encouraging to ask questions” is complex with EDS patients bc we HAVE asked questions and been overlooked and not listened to, that’s why it takes so long to diagnose. There is medical trauma present in many. I would talk to EDS patients next time

@socio_melissa I mean these three points are what should be done on a very basic level. Any EDS patient can tell you these three conclusions with out research. It would be useful to collect data from EDS patients about top issues esp as seeing one of the major issues is (1/2)
