If you're getting, "Template configuration is not valid" with Amazon CodePipeline when deploying a CloudFormation action, check that you're using CodePipeline's parameters format and not the awscli's parameter format. Check this gist out: gist.github.com/g-a-d/4bc7f716…
@GassyMexican As a layperson, I'm watching more to see if someone is attempting to come into their own on the springboard of an endorsement (positive), or if they're actually being leeches. For small streamers, it seems to be that the springboard is needed for initial momentum.
The big one for me after getting cross account continuous deployment going is a second simultaneous cross account deployment without violating DRY. I don't want to know from my pipeline what services on other accounts need new task revisions. It's service definition discovery.
I suspect that with respect to ECR, the other account will need its own so that it can operate standalone with its entire history of images in its task revisions. The S3 only needs to be there on a one-time basis to communicate image definitions for new task revisions.
I have a functioning CD workflow that deploys docker images to an AWS ECS cluster service on the same account as the CodePipeline, but what's the best way to use the same CodePipeline to initiate a deploy to a similar ECS setup on another account?
I'm not going to know what any of this means tomorrow morning.

I've been getting csrf token errors left and right, all week in the aws console. It's usually after waiting a bit while slowly editing something manually. It's like they're expired. All browsers, two computers.

Any JIRA & scrum users? How are you representing definition of done and non-functional requirements that are always relevant in your sprints so they can be seen at all times?
@kurtismcc Language features are a big plus, but so are platform features. Clean code notwithstanding, there are some things that are utterly impractical in C without reinventing several wheels and also the car.
