We gave evidence to @CommonsHealth on the devastating impact funding pressures are having on the UK hospice sector. We need a serious conversation about how hospice and end of life care is funded, hospices cannot be asked to compromise on the invaluable care they provide.
"How you die is determined by where you live, surely we're better than that" - @RachaelMaskell MP. The variation in hospice funding isn't right. We urgently need a new funding model for end of life care so hospices are able to provide timely and compassionate care.
Paulette Hamilton MP (@PauletteHamilto) reminds us of the incredible care hospices provide for dying people and their families. As demand for palliative and end of life care grows, we need a new funding model so hospices can continue their essential care long into the future.

We gave evidence to @CommonsHealth on the devastating impact funding pressures are having on the UK hospice sector. We need a serious conversation about how hospice and end of life care is funded, hospices cannot be asked to compromise on the invaluable care they provide.
