Was delighted to speak to representatives from @MarieCurieSCO about the Right to Palliative Care in Scotland today. The growing demand and increasing cost of delivering palliative care means that cooperative action with MSPs and other policy shapers is vital going forward.
Insightful piece from @Palliative_Scot that spells out bluntly just what needs to change to make a difference for people but also for the NHS : "Death is not “the great leveller”: people who are already disadvantaged tend to have worse end of life experiences".
