@Andymack Tried it for a bit, and it worked to a point but then you get to things that don’t fit into any category, or fit into about half a dozen categories. So you end so with about a hundred categories with 2 or 3 records in each. I went back to alphabetical.

You know a small thing that is awkward? When you go to give someone a high five, with an open hand, and they offer a closed hand for a fist bump. You end up kind of cupping their fist and avoiding eye contact. “Man, we fucked it up, never speak of this.”

@STVNews I would say it was worth it for free (at the point of use) prescriptions, bus passes for young and elderly, college/university fees, early learning, etc. I would happily pay slightly higher tax for properly funded public services. But all entitled to their own opinion.

@AnthonyTeasdale I worked in a record shop at the time and heard them early but I was into funky, hip hop flavoured beats, as well as house and techno. I didn’t get LCD or The Rapture at all at first. But when it clicked I was hooked. Still love pretty much everything they have done.

@theiaincameron That’s awful. They’re not as high, but my wife and I were at the top of the Pentlands one summer afternoon when a storm blew in bringing thunder directly overhead. I don’t think either of us ever made the descent as quickly as we did that day.
