@RichardBurgon The defence will have had their chance to present that argument before sentencing, and the judge decided. They can always ask the Court of Appeal to rule on it, but it’s permitted in legislation.

@RichardBurgon Perhaps read the Terrorism Act before trying to claim this was a ‘miscarriage of justice’ And in any event, the judge indicated at the start of the trial that this was on the table, thereby giving the defence plenty of time to prepare an argument as to why it wasn’t,

@toadmeister Because any private venue can ask you to leave without ascribing a reason. And use force to remove you if you refuse to go. And ask the Police to assist with that. So the Police didn’t kick you out. UCL did.
