okay same but i don’t assume everyone is out to get me, and i don’t assume a single person has ill intent until i’m given reason to.
i truly hope everyone who feels justified in behaving like this is able to access therapy and healing bc living in constant fear of any and all men is bad for your long term health. you can learn to be cautious, not paranoid.
@fatstevebuscemi Not only that but implying that some women are simply too ugly to be assaulted or otherwise… Like did you see what people looked like in the 80s when serial killers were super active? Being pretty or not doesn’t make a difference to a man who wants to hurt someone
@fatstevebuscemi Maybe men should learn not to sexually assault and harass ppl. Sick of the responsibility being put on us tbh
@fatstevebuscemi “Justified” you think people are justify paranoia based off previous traumatic experiences?
@fatstevebuscemi Girl I survived a mass shooting at my job. I’m the exact same way. People shouldn’t feel ashamed for this level of public anxiety because it’s not unrealistic for something to quickly go wrong, in this country
@fatstevebuscemi literally like i dont want to sound old or rude but you seriously cannot live your life like that...
@fatstevebuscemi WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THIS AS IF SHES DOING SOMETHING WRONG?????? im sorry but after being told "im like this bc i was s/a and so have every 1 in 3 women" and this is how you respond? horrible take on your part keep it in the drafts next time.
@fatstevebuscemi Honestly I don’t think living in Jacksonville gives you the kind of perspective you need to speak here. I was harassed all day everyday and assaulted more than a handful of times in broad daylight when I lived in NYC. Talk to me about what’s appropriate when that’s your life!
