@seanbax Macro scoping seems a little broken: circle.godbolt.org/z/PEWGshW7M I expected "define_pos" to be lowered into the calling scope, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

@seanbax A typed enum is a great idea. Thank you! I'll take some time to wrap my head around this & figure out how to hook it up to my deserialization logic.

@seanbax Is it possible to reflect on the members of a union in Circle? My use case is deserializing into one member of a union based on a runtime condition. member_* don't appear to accept union types.

@seanbax fstrings as a language feature would be neat, but I'd be worried about losing flexibility. I have custom attributes to determine how certain fields are printed, support for a `to_s()` function, etc.

@seanbax With Circle, should I be able to use `format.hxx` within templated funcs? godbolt.org/z/M48PT7hae It seems like the meta execution happens before template instantiation. (Same error occurs if `f` isn't ever called)

@seanbax Awesome! I'm working on a area/model viewer for the Metroid Prime games in Circle, and it's been amazing for deserialization and shaders. (If interested, I can send discovered bugs your way, otherwise I'll let you keep doing your thing.)

@comex That being said, it's possible for pacman to handle glibc>=foo, just that the maintainers don't add it, assumedly due to the above.

@comex It's expected that packages in the Arch repos require the latest of other packages. That's why pacman -Sy is discouraged.

@cmwdotme Latest build works great on M1 Pro. Very impressive to have Linux this functional this quickly. Battery status & sleep/wake feel like the only things left to be fully usable.
