Thanks @LAFD! At 10:44pm there was a loud bang down the block and we saw a car on fire. At 10:45pm it was in full force and had caught the palm tree above. By 10:51 you'd arrived on the scene and completely put it out. Amazing work, we really appreciate you!

@ShawnAstrom @maxon3d I think it's because you're using `ctrl` as part of your shortcut. Doing that has the effect of soloing that filter. But it definitely feels like that info should be in the tooltip.

Yesterday I got into a cycling accident in traffic where road issues were a contributing factor. Bloodied, shaken, and a bit fuzzy, I called @MyLA311 to save others from the same fate. Today the issue was "closed" by @LADOTofficial with no inspection. @LADOTlivable please help!

@LADOTofficial Can you please give a status update on the closure of the LA River bike path near Spoke / LA Colombe? It's an important stretch in many commutes and most days it doesn't seem construction is actually happening. Please open the path for the hours you can!

@Google please don't improve the battery life of the #TeamPixel too much. The 1% battery warning that forces me to plug in and switch to a podcast on Bluetooth is the only thing that gets me to bed at a semi-reasonable hour.

A few years ago I wanted to explore what a data-driven, procedural #AfterEffects alternative could look like. I made a simple prototype, but never took it further. Looks like @mainframeuk was on the same page and created @cavalry__app. Very excited to see it shake up mograph!

@nedbat I appreciate them, but I would suggest leading with a positive comment about some substantive part of the post, followed by a "Also, for what it's worth...". Basically diffuse the perceived conflict so they'll be more open to hearing they've made a mistake.
