Bigger but smaller LLMs. TLDR: Quantization after models are trained is sub-optimal. VBQ uses quantization aware training which creates 4x smaller models with equal accuracy and noticeably faster inference.

@arvislacis @AmpCode Thanks for the hint, but holding down shift doesn't work for me (macOS Terminal, or VSCode terminal emulators). However: I just tried with Ghostty and the "auto copy on selection" behaviour works - even over SSH. Will look in Discord and see if I can add to your earlier report!

@AmpCode I’m running the CLI on an external box over SSH and the “Failed to copy selection” alert is clearing my selections before I can even try to copy them! Please fix!

Internal retrieval model benchmarks (MTEB, e-commerce and other gold sets). These tests are really broad, interesting how well OpenAI generalises. Lot of dims though, will add MRL soon…

@_dankeen I've had my M1 Max for nearly 2 weeks now, having lots of problems with Logic in native mode (MIDI notes hanging, crashes). Even in tiny projects just using native plugins (like the new Appassionata). Really disappointing. community.spitfireaudio.com/discussion/146…

Ok, so now 3 times. Whilst I'm complaining, the "Join" button on the "Do you want to join <personal hotspot X>" notification has not worked since 11.2, but manually selecting the network in the Wifi menu works fine. Grrr...

@RHicksMusic @monogramcc @SpitfireAudio @chensonmusic Basically, yes! The dial moves the Logic playhead (support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/lo….) left and right, so you can quickly scrub forwards/backwards through your arrangement.

@chewxy @Google @Googledocs Takes me back to original the release of RedHat Bluecurve! I use IBM Plex Mono these days, you should give it a whirl - it's on Google Fonts already :-)
