As Kent Beck said a while ago: “The value of 90% of my skills just dropped to $0. The leverage of the remaining 10% went up 1000x.” Writing code and organizing it professionally is no longer as expensive as it used to be. But that does not make engineering irrelevant.

@nuoxera Despite recent advancements, development teams are still adapting to the new world and not trusting AI coding harnesses enough yet. Code has become cheaper. Not free, not automatically good, and not automatically valuable - but cheaper.
