@KyleJamesHoward Yes. I think this is a change though. Most white folks I know 40 and under talk openly about voting, but older it’s less common. And even in younger groups, I’ve notice more talk in last 15 years.

@DataDrivenMD @ChrisMurphyCT Because in order to bring things to the floor to discuss and then vote upon, the Senate needs 60 votes. Not 60 to pass it, 60 to say “yes let’s bring it to the floor.” And there aren’t 10 R’s willing to join all D’s to bring this one to the floor.

@thistallawkgirl If you’re having a wedding, spend as much of it with your new spouse as possible. Super easy to be sucked away by guests as opposed to enjoying the event together! For marriage: couples therapy, because even the best communicators can benefit from consistent guided comm!

@ivannashalanee Unasked-for actions were also sometimes better than words. Receiving a book and a note in the mail from a friend, a food delivery, and again a call or text months later. Helps show that the memory of him is alive in others, not just me/immediate family.

@ivannashalanee I still have saved vm’s from friends after my brother died saying, “you don’t need to call me back, but I love you and am so sorry.” Calls and texts like that in the months after we’re also nice, as grief doesn’t stop mere days after someone dies.

I’m seeing SO many “I tested positive” tweets but little to no one saying how they think they got it. Really wish there was more if the latter so I could know if I really need to lock myself in my house or just continue being vigilant about masks, testing, avoiding big gatherings

I wish ppl posting that they have a covid breakthrough case would also post how they think they got it. It would help my anxiety, and I think help all of us who are trying to figure out just how locked down we need to be right now.
