Lots of time needed to train people on both existing stack and general bioinformatics stuff (rare to find people with experience at the intersection of cs and bio)
I believe there are creative ways to do this using multi-modal data (for example, CITE-seq, where protein information can serve as ground truth), and we’d be delighted to work with the @lpachter lab and others towards this goal

New preprint in which we evaluate changes in energy intake, E-expenditure and E-excretion in mice exposed to controlled overfeeding. Technically challenging to combine the intragastric infusion with the metabolic chambers, but masterly achieved by @pranea and @CamillaLund92

So excited to share our work mapping the human hypothalamus using snRNAseq and spatial transcriptomics now out on @biorxivpreprint biorxiv.org/content/10.110… a really great collaborative project 😁
But - in both SURMOUNT-4 and -3 obese subjects with #T2D were excluded. In fact, GLP-1 agonists - probably also tirzepatide??? - have much less effect on BW in these patients with major medical need. Novel non- GLP-1a approaches are badly needed here….
Participants in @EliLillyandCo’s SURMOUNT-4 achieved 21.1% weight loss during a 36-week tirzepatide lead-in period and an additional 6.7% weight loss during a 52-week continued treatment period, for a total mean weight loss of 26.0% over 88 weeks! investor.lilly.com/news-releases/…
