Our next invited speaker is Prof Cedric Bardy, ARC Future Fellow at Flinders, SAHMRI Group Lead and Founding Director of Brain Organoid Therapeutics. He’s internationally recognised for pioneering advances in the physiological complexity of human neural models in vitro.
Our first invited speaker is Dr Bingyang Shi, Chair Professor of Nanomedicine at UTS and a global leader in brain‑targeted drug delivery. His work spans nanomedicine and biomolecular engineering to develop next‑gen brain therapies. ABCARA 2026 registration is NOW OPEN.

ABCARA and COGNO are delighted to announce the launch of the OPAL study - a national, multi-site Phase 1 clinical trial of CT-179, a first-in-class orally bioavailable brain penetrant small molecule targeting OLIG2, a key protein associated with glioblastoma cancer stem cells.
