@SurrealistShip @bogeyfromhell In retrospect it seems obvious that if you make it easier to finance and sell a product it makes it easier to innovate with it as well. I was always at least a bit skeptical of marijuana legalization but even so I never considered that aspect.
@sgodofsk And drug legalization was right there as an example. Couple of great ideas that worked out great!
@bogeyfromhell Something legal marijuana advocates failed to predict is that while marijuana was relatively safe (as drugs go, lol), once legal or quasi legal, people developed much stronger strains.
@sgodofsk There’s a certain “if people want to ruin their own lives and drag others around them down with them, let them” attitude to it that’s always struck me as a bit misanthropic
