I get to deadlift today. We’ve been running into problems w/ Paused DLs and I suspect core strength (or a lack of it) has been the culprit. To correct this, I’m postponing (not eliminating) Pauses, and substituting w/ Suitcase DLs to train unilateral & bilateral core strength.
Though I am only approaching my first year in this journey, Stablegoat and @MikeyD_OandBP have helped me redefine my expectations for myself not just for the day, but my life moving forward. I’ve learned more about myself here than anywhere else in my life! #BeTheGoat

After failing on a 475 deadlift yesterday, I just had to move some weight today. Repping out 170 on the Viking Press and 180 on the T-Bar Row. Felt GREAT. #StableGoatBarbell

Today felt like it was going to be nothing more than a day where showing up to the gym would be the win itself. Instead both me and @MikeyD_OandBP put up all three sets of eight on the bench and are moving into new milestones. What a freaking day
