@premisedata at #ICT4D2022 on when to custom-build tech as an NGO vs. using commercial products: Really unique jobs & workflows - go custom. Otherwise: using commercial limits your risk (shared up-front cost, easy to quit) and gets continuous improvements & maintenance.

Der Ansatz der Corona-Warn-App (wenn auch vielleicht an mangelnder Nutzung gescheiterter) ist ja, dass eben die App direkt warnt und nicht der Beamte aus dem Gesundheitsamt? Wenn sich die Leute sich an diese Warnung halten, wäre das Gesundheitsamt ja auch entlastet, oder? (2/3)
