@stackerco I respect your views and agree with many. Personally, as an exmo woman, I don’t think the church is evil. But I do think it is extremely harmful due to its patriarchal structure. I know so many people who are struggling as a result of learned patriarchy, of all genders.

I wish LDS people would understand that a person simply telling their story, without vitriol or rudeness, isn’t “bashing the church.” They want us to do the “respectful” thing & go away quietly. Anything else is an attack, even if it’s a song about a mom’s love for her gay son.
