How successful was Brian Simmons in convincing the world that The Passion "Translation" was translated from "Aramaic?" He had some of the most well-known Charismatic leaders hyping up his "Aramaic translation" all over the world. TPT only exists because of this deception. And now, we are being told that the final "Bible" will have almost no references to this secret "Aramaic." Why? Because various individuals have now exposed the fact that most of the "Aramaic" was just the ramblings of an amateur filmmaker who claimed to have a secret manuscript in a secret language that he refused to show anyone. The endorsements page for TPT is still a "Who's Who" of the Charismatic church.

Tucker jumped the shark quite early in 2019 when he endorsed Elizabeth Warrens "Stakeholder Capitalism" economic policy (the same policies held by Klaus Schwab and Marco Rubio). Then he platformed Charles Haywood for an hour. Then it was Viktor Orban. Then it was Andrew Tate, Jeffrey Sachs, Alexander Dugin, Auron MacIntyre, MartyrMade, Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes and just about every member of the Woke Right/Neo-Integralist movement. Tucker Carlson is the imprimatur of the deconstruction machine of the faux-right.

My theory on Tucker Carlson and co. is that for a long time now, at least since before 2020 but perhaps even further back, they have been running a long con on conservative Americans to win their trust so they could do what they're doing now to break and mislead, and it worked.

The Passion Translation is currently in the middle of a cover-up project dripping with deceit, broken promises, money grubbing, and the hiding of Brian Simmons’ abuse of Scripture. If you aren’t well informed about this you may think I am overreacting. If you are well informed, you know I’m not. Simmons, Broadstreet Publishing, Bethel, Hillsong, and many others are helping to perpetrate a fraudulent replacement of God’s Word by aiding Simmons in his coverup. It is infuriating how little these people care about Scripture while they prance around acting like they love it. I predict that if the tide goes against them so hard that they finally have to abandon this disgraceful butchering of the Bible they will come out telling you all they had no idea. They were just being nice and hopeful. They are only guilty of trying too hard to see the move of the Spirit. They’ll pretend ignorance about the countless people who have come to them with evidence, scholarly testimony, and clear proofs that Brian is a fraud. A fraud! Don’t believe them. And not just for some sense of vengeance or grudge. No. Let’s not allow their evil to overcome us and bring us into the place where only God stands. Rather, we need to learn that these guys don’t have discernment and not only aren’t safe leaders, they feed their flocks to the wolves and will do it again. Run from them. Ignore them. Forget them.

Prior to the Council of Trent in 1545 there was no such thing as an agreed upon “Roman Catholic Bible.” Cardinal Ximenez (who died in 1517 - the very year Martin Luther nailed his 95 Thesis to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg) in the preface to his Complutensian Polyglot Bible described the 7 books of the Deutercanon as “books outside the canon.” He explains that their purpose is to be “received by the Church rather for the edification of the people than for the authoritative confirmation of ecclesiasitcal doctrines.” In essence, Ximenes’s position was: valuable and edifying for Christians, but outside the primary canon and insufficient by themselves to establish doctrine.

In Genesis 4:26 the Hebrew records that people “began to call upon the name of YHWH” (אָז הוּחַל לִקְרֹא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה). The LXX renders this ἐπικαλεῖσθαι τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ - “to call upon the name of the Lord God.” In 1 Corinthians 1:2, the early Christians - within about 20–25 years of the resurrection - were already invoking the name of Jesus in the same way. Paul describes the universal church as those who “call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐπικαλουμένοις τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ). The early Christians did not create new language for a subordinate figure. They took the highest Old Testament expression of invoking the one true God (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13) and applied it directly and universally to Jesus Christ. This is not the language of mere honor. It is the language of divine worship.
