Work hard. Rest hard. Get outside. Breathe. Repeat. 👣 Maybe the best kind of reset is finding your own rhythm between movement and stillness. 🌀

Do you know where your food comes from? 🐟 There’s something special about catching wild salmon in Bristol Bay—one of the last great wild salmon fisheries on Earth. Sustainably managed, naturally abundant, and a reminder that good food starts with healthy ecosystems. Knowing where your food comes from makes every meal that much more meaningful.

Is there anything better than holding hands with your friends and hugging a massive cottonwood tree? Our happy endorphins were through the roof. 🌲

Jojoba is used in about 90% of the cosmetics industry and is native to the Sonoran desert. The more I learn about the desert, the more I realize how much it has to teach us. Every plant, animal, and landscape has a purpose. Understanding the intricacies of this ecosystem has deepened my respect for the land and continues to inspire me to care for it more intentionally. 🤲🏽🌿

This interview resonated with me. As a like-minded outdoor enthusiast, I am certain that my life would not be the same if I lived in a city. 🏙️ In college, while I was getting my degree in Psychology, I learned that it was possible to have a job in the outdoor industry. This possibility changed me forever. I passionately desired to educate people on our outdoor spaces, to be good stewards of them, and to connect with others in a very special way. I got to experience how powerful spending time outside is and how it brings people together. Nature is my greatest teacher. 🙏🏽

Turns out my nervous system responds really well to being repeatedly submerged in nature. 🌊

Nature leaves clues everywhere. 🫆 The spirals of a seashell, the branching of a tree, the ridges of your fingertips—similar patterns appear again and again throughout the natural world. That’s because we’re not separate from nature. We are nature. For hundreds of thousands of years, humans evolved under the same sun, on the same earth, and within the same ecosystems that shaped every other living thing around us. 🌎 The patterns we see in the natural world are often reflected within ourselves because we share the same origins. Maybe that’s why being outside feels so familiar. It’s not somewhere we go—it’s where we come from. And that’s exactly why we make the footwear we do. 🌿👣

Turns out waking up to notifications, emails, and blue light isn’t quite as regulating as waking up to mountains, sunshine, and actual fresh air. 🌲☀️ My brain knows the difference.
