It can be so hard to know what to 'say' as a parent at ED recovery meal times - something I did instead was hold her hand , something suggested by one of the units but I actually haven't seen in guidance or research ? Perhaps it should be ? Others experienced this ?

Oh crap I forgot that as someone with an eating disorder I’m supposed to be getting stressed about how Easter can be a very *challenging time* and that recovery involves showing myself love via giving myself permission to eat chocolate eggs. (Sometimes it’s all very tiring)
I was very nervous about speaking in this unfamiliar context and in front of clinicians, but I was very appreciative of receiving a #ICED2024 top scoring early career abstract award and of getting positive feedback about my talk (including from people I've cited). (8/10)
