@Shrink_at_Large And PIP was stated, on introduction, to be more available for mental health conditions than DLA. Not just for buying walking sticks.

The same kind of strategy used in the first generations of "brick" housing in London, where for years full timber frames continued behind a fireproofing brick curtain. Mathematical tiles (hung to look like bricks) are another C17-18 English variation on that theme.
#architectureandenergy Jianyeli, a 1930s lilong development in Shanghai, looks like a brick structure, but was in fact built on a structural timber frame, making sparse use of high-embodied-energy materials brick (thin walls, roof tiles) and concrete (floors, lintels).

Once again....a gentle reminder..... #PIP is NOT an 'out of work' benefit. It covers the extra costs of being long term sick or disabled...nothing to do with not having a job. The process is usually a traumatic & desperate application system created to put people off applying
