Reminder: You're not unhappy because of the situation. You're unhappy because of your thoughts about it.
Your mind is a garden. Water it: - Time in nature - Sunlight - Exercise - Eat clean - Scroll less - Meditate - Learn something new - Try something new - Practice stoicism - Express gratitude - Talk to someone you love - Write down your thoughts
Self-care: - Not overthinking everything - Not taking yourself too seriously - Staying away from people who dismiss how you feel
It's not happy people that are grateful. It's grateful people that are happy.
Every moment is a gift. You haven't earned it, you haven't bought it, you have no way of assuring that there will be another moment given to you. Yet, it's the most valuable thing that's ever given to us.
If you have a proper purpose, there's no space left for overthinking.
Old proverb: "Don't go chasing butterflies because they'll only run away Build a beautiful garden and the butterflies will comes to you"
You need a calm body before you can have a calm mind
This is a reminder that it's human nature to focus on negative events. Things will seem worse than they are.

I used to be bad at finishing stuff. I spent too much time trying to make things perfect. Then I realized that done is better than perfect.
If you're not careful, you'll spend life at war with yourself.
It's not 'self-improvement' if it makes you tense and jaded
Something magical happens when you stop judging the world: The world stops judging you.
