NJ TRANSIT is advancing plans to implement environmentally friendly transit access between its Secaucus Junction Station and the Meadowlands Sports and Entertainment Complex.
Millions of Americans don’t drive due to cost, age, or disability. They need options to get around. But building infrastructure for walking, biking, and transit also benefits people who DO drive, by relieving congestion and saving tax dollars on road maintenance and expansions.
Want safer streets? Rebuild them so that people aren't obligated to rely on the most dangerous - and least scalable - mode to get around.

The US has comically, dangerously wide streets, designed to move lots of cars through population centers at speed. They have enough room to install housing, businesses, tree lined promenades and bike lanes. It’s time to reclaim our cities from the car.
Paris is slashing car lanes from 8 to 4 on one of its most congested, polluted thoroughfares. They're turning what was a nasty arterial into a place people will actually want to be.
Cars in our national parks should be considered a pollutant, and we need far better transit and access to them, full stop.
