@TheMaverickWS Cost of living is really cheap even today if you live by 1990 standards. Houses are bigger, cars drive themselves. You can run most errands from your phone. Dollars are just numbers. Look around. The poverty level is extreme luxury. America is a really nice place.

@BillAckman Hopefully he can encourage corporations to accept smaller profit margins in exchange for fair wages. But probably he will continue to make a handful of wealthy families even wealthier while everyone else gets into more debt. He’s a tool of some billionaires.

@HindenburgRes Could someone help me compare price to nav of IEP to other MLPs who also pay dividends around 15% such as DMLP, BSM, ARLP, CEQP. They have price to book ratio from 1.5-8. IEP was 2.7 in 2022. Seems normal. I’m not an expert though.

@HindenburgRes Comparing IEP price/NAV to its “peers” is not accurate when comparing to Pershing square or other hedge fund that pays very low dividend. The price/NAV premium is completely justified because the large dividend. So comparing to a stock with little to no dividend is invalid.
