Currency dilution quietly confiscates labor you completed years ago. Historically, protecting stored wealth meant moving physical assets across borders. Bitcoin makes stored time portable. You hold a silent veto against monetary debasement on a 12-word seed phrase.
The US government does not have an inflation problem. Inflation is the plan. Deficit spending requires the debt to shrink in real terms. The only way to do that without default is to devalue the unit. Every dollar you hold is paying for that math.
The dollar is a ruler that shrinks every year. Try building anything with that.
A dollar in 1971 buys about 14 cents worth of goods today. 53 years of compounding debasement. You are holding a melting ice cube and calling it an asset.
A credit worthy customer walks into a bank and takes out a loan. The bank doesn't move money from a vault. It types a number into his account and records the loan as an asset on its books. That deposit didn't exist before the keystroke. Created out of nothing. This is how banks expand M2. Every new loan adds dollars to the money supply without any new productivity behind them. The bank doesn't even need a prior deposit to do it, only enough reserves to not look overleveraged. This is the basis of inflation. And it happens every single day at every bank in the country.
Where you stand on Bitcoin tells me how deep you've gone. People who haven't looked think it's a scam. People who looked a little accept store of value. Go further and you start to see medium of exchange. But the ones who really understand it see something bigger. The only source of truth in the known universe that cannot be shut off.

Treasury is buying back its own bonds using the TGA. That is the whole trick. When they buy, bond prices go up. When bond prices go up, yields come down. No QE announcement required. Meanwhile $9T needs to roll over in 12 months, the deficit is $2T a year, and interest alone is over $1T. They cannot afford market rates. So they manufacture lower ones. This is financial repression. Yields stay below inflation, real returns go negative, and savers lose purchasing power while holding "safe" assets. Capital figures this out and moves into hard assets.
