@RichardLyonn @RareOats I think I've had dreams set in this house. Someone leaves a door open and a squirrel runs in, and I have to chase it out the labyrinth. I'm running clockwise, someone else is running counterclockwise... We keep crashing in the bathroom

@isda1979 I am so sorry you're hurting. Just seeing your name on twitter made me think, bravo, she's still here and still working on finding a sense of meaning for her life. Maybe part of that meaning IS the remembering. As long as you're still here, those kids will be lovingly remembered

During WW2, soldiers could mail a voice message to loved ones on a super flimsy 78. My dad found one that his dad sent his mom but he has no way to play it, so it's up to me to transfer it to mp3. So I got a mic, added some crackle, and I'm about to record some absolute FILTH.

Fave line in "Good Luck, Leo Grande": when Nancy says she's not attracted to men her age. Personally, I AM attracted to men my age (and older). But I feel like men could stand to see what it feels like to be rejected as too old by partners your same age.

@KyroMaseh To everyone saying don't go to emerg, in my town, there is huge population growth due to pandemic city-leavers. There's a 2-year wait to get a family doctor here and we don't have walk-in clinics. The hospital is the only place TO go, whether it's a sore throat or a stubbed toe.

@LilahSturges My kindergartner told me he murdered another kid at recess and buried him under a pile of construction rubble (pointed to it). I asked him why the office didn't call me about this and he said, ominously, "they're all afraid of me". Kid is 21 now and has never harmed a soul IRL.
