I believe @ArifHasanNFL's research has found that "steals" don't translate to better career outcomes relative to slot drafted, but "reaches" do generally mean players, by and large, will underperform their draft slot. Bears have avoided any reaches through 2 days.

Credit to Matt Eberflus. The overwhelming majority of resources the Bears have spent this offseason have been on offense. He's actually letting his side of the ball take the hit for the good of the franchise QB.
Ryan Poles has had a great fucking off-season. All in on the offense to put Caleb Williams in the best possible situation. I still had concerns about Poles entering this off-season, but I'm all in now. The dude gets it. Bears are in great hands.
Bears might be lacking top end talent on the OL right now, but the depth is really solid. And the top end talent could be decent if Jenkins stays healthy and Wright makes a sophomore jump.

I've been on the Kiran Amegadjie train since July of last summer. If he was healthy enough to test at the Combine, I'm confident he'd be a top-50 pick. The #Bears are 3-for-3 on slam dunk picks this year.
There’s been an OL from the FCS drafting in the first two rounds each of the last 3 drafts. In 2024, that trend could continue with Yale LT Kiran Amegadjie. The Hinsdale native is a great athlete with a mean streak and 99th percentile arm length. Physical specimen. #NFLDraft
Flus makes plenty of boneheaded decisions on Sundays but as a person he seems like a sensible guy. He knows at this point, Caleb succeeding is the best way for him to earn job security. Even if that means the defense is a tick worse in 2024. Love to see it

Bears third round pick Kiran Amegadjie is a raw OT prospect but has all the traits you want and plays with a mean streak. Idk if you want him playing much this year but could be a starter, and a good one, down the road
