Looks like the pricing on the Central Park pickleball courts will remain similar for 2024. $120 an hour for peak times and $80 an hour for off-peak slots. There will be 6 hours of new Community Play each day, though, where it is $5 a person and a free paddle rental.

Disappointing update: This plan has fallen through, due to the bankruptcy of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema chain. Further complicated by the recent death of the long-time owner of the Metro. It's back to the drawing board yet again. I will continue to fight to bring this gem back.

Somebody or some group threw more than 30 chairs and tables from the popular Pier i in Riverside South into the Hudson River last night. The cafe reopened for the spring/summer last week. NYPD are looking into it.

Breaking/scoop related: The line for Absolute Bagels on the UWS has changed directions since the recent closure of Garden of Eden. After decades of people lining up on the north side of the popular bagel spot, the line has formed on the south side for the past two weekends.

Breaking/scoop related: The line for Absolute Bagels on the UWS has changed directions since the recent closure of Garden of Eden. After decades of people lining up on the north side of the popular bagel spot, the line has formed on the south side for the past two weekends.
