After 20 years of operating in a "loosely functioning disaster" of a small business, I would like to have the opportunity to meet (in person) others who feel that same about SMB as I do. Despite a serious lack of mentors, I have somehow been able to turn two different branches on two different continents into profitable enterprises, I however tire of standing in battle alone. The Permanent Equity and related community that I discovered on X has more “business people” that I respect than what I have in real life and has provided me a glimpse of what constitutes, in my case, an “authentic business man”. I come from the brutal automation project world and have been intrigued by this community and how I could grow as a follower of Christ while balancing the harsh demands of running a business. Something that till recently I had found no idea could be reconciled.
