Why there's no White woman left who can even play Helen of Troy: Modern Western casting has shifted toward naturalism, individuality, irony, and x "interesting" beauty. Hollywood actresses are also encouraged to appear candid and accessible off-screen, they're now yapping and oversharing all the time. Talking about Trump, trans rights, how many Black dicks they had and what not. It completely destroys their aura. White actresses nowadays look like they only shower once and brush their teeth thrice per week. K-pop now does something closer to the old Hollywood star system than modern Hollywood does: it deliberately manufactures distance, perfection, controlled mystique, posture, styling, lighting, and almost superhuman beauty. And most importantly: They don't let their stars talk much. Which hides a lot of human imperfection.
