The @USDA + @CDCgov keeps releasing data (qPCR test) showing H5N1 presence in the milk, but this test cannot determine if the viral particles are infectious or not. There are simple ways to circumvent this. For example, the technique described in the paper below (3 years ago) combines propidium monoazide (PMA) to the qPCR method, enabling a rapid discrimination of live and dead SARS-CoV-2 in about 3 h. PMA is a photo-reactive dye, and it can bind to inactivated SARS-CoV-2 virions, but does not bind to viral RNA inside live virions. The formation of PMA-RNA conjugates prevents PCR amplification, leaving only infectious virions to be detected. We can detect if the H5N1 virions presented in the pasteurized milk are infectious or not in an assay that lasts 3 hours. We are just not doing it for some reason. 🤷 #H5N1 #AvianFlu pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34293609/

@DaniBeckman @GosiaGasperoPhD @USDA @CDCgov I saw a lab in Wisconsin tested pasteurization and found it inactivated it, but obviously it isn’t a published paper and the researcher said fda needs to do the study. I think I saw it in stat.
@DaniBeckman @USDA @CDCgov Admit I’m not familiar w/ this test, but looks interesting. Prob need to optimize for flu and not sure how it’d work in milk, etc. Seems simple enough for any appropriate lab w/ qPCR. An interesting project. Even w/ this, I’d still like to see parallel culture for validation.
@DaniBeckman @USDA @CDCgov So @US_FDA is jumping the gun trying to reassure the public that it's safe when they actually don't know yet? They really like throwing the precautionary principle out the window and just rely on luck alone....Just like they did/still doing with SARS2 🦠 ....holy 🤦
@DaniBeckman @USDA @CDCgov An NPR report stated the remainders of the viruses after pasteurizing (heating) are not infectious nor a danger.
@DaniBeckman @USDA @CDCgov In Brazil, there is not even any monitoring of COVID, I don't think it's difficult to have cases of H5N1 that they will hide at all costs given the economic impact, what should we do? I don't trust the Ministry of Health.
@DaniBeckman @USDA @CDCgov This is not correct. All it tells you is that the visions are intact. Intact virion =\= infectious.
@DaniBeckman It would disrupt the current planned narrative and timeline...
