@toddkedwards It’s probably accumulated over years combined with that I often reflect and notice such things. But what made it obvious was the inability to focus and think clearly. Exhaustion up, drive down. Yourself?

I think it’s time to enter a new discussion. We used to talk about workload, but there’s a new thief in town: The load of constant context-switching. Per my experience, switch load is the sneaky thief of the modern environment. Most people probably don’t realize that’s what drains and fragments them.
@toddkedwards Not really. Feels hard to measure but doable. Could be an experiment but still, noticeable once you’re aware
@Tim_Denning As you mature, you realize anything that protects your peace of mind is a win
@stijnnoorman Not as easy when every distracting piece is the most convenient and served on a silver platter. Got to outsmart ourselves
@waronweakness It’s become quite the hobby to ignore gurus tbh
@UnmodernmanBot You can either put your focus on stuff like this, or continue live your life in peace
@_Pammy_DS_ We so often mistake our average state, or the environment, for personality when it’s in fact temporary
@smithhmackenzie Mentally check out til that feel-good new years promise gets made
@Nithya_Shrii Growth has a way of throwing doubt at us before rewarding us
@SeffSaid I just embrace what it throws at me and more often than not it’s a net positive experience
Today it’s AI day. I will spend the whole day outsourcing everything to AI. Just casual stuff. Decisions. Chatting. See how long it takes me before feeling drained.
@thetomjobe Yeah it’s incredibly easy to get stuck there. You receive a long answer, get excited, so you just continue looping
@erden_xi External validation is the fast ticket to feeling drained
@kelcey_tweets Put it out there. No second guessing. You’re supposed to learn by doing. Trial and error. It’s always been like that
@creatorschmidt Getting morning sunlight and consistent waking times. Those two has done more for my sleep than anything else
@AnthonyGaenzle One of those instant gratification vs delayed gratification battles. Everyone’s hungry for the metrics
@owoldestiny It’s funny how they just stay there. ”I’ll watch them later”, yeah sure
@EmmanueI_zw It can be hard, but it’s a trainable skill
@illestfatboy254 Boredom makes life funnier, ironically
