Let me explain this clearly. You, Cyril, live a life of opulence because the mining houses bribed you away from the unions with share deals and directorships in the nineties. Your ANC buddies live a life of opulence because they are utterly corrupt and you, among many others, turned a blind eye for thirty years. And everyone else lives in abject poverty because your beloved ANC is hopelessly incompetent, steals everything that moves and consistently comes up with the most wealth-destroying policies and racist narratives it can possibly find. You are the very definition of a “champagne socialist” who unashamedly puts a corrupt and destructive party ahead of your country in the pursuit of a failed and patently anti-human ideology. Yet, somehow, here you are, shrugging your shoulders pretending it’s a big mystery and wasting even more of our tax money and time on a useless waffle-fest that, if we’re honest, is really just a thinly disguised ANC election campaign on the taxpayers account. A normal person with a modicum of morals would be utterly embarrassed and ashamed to stand on that stage today, but you must have a very, very thick skin to stand there and spew your disingenuous bullshit pretending that if only we all had a good chat everybody will be happy campers again. You’re finished, the ANC is finished, and you are going to be held responsible in the annals of history for the chaos that will ensue when the “barbarians at the gate” take over.
