Ian, you do realise that the homes and children of match officials have been under police guard this week as a result of online abuse and threats escalating? This has been directly impacted by those with influence on social media fanning the flames. The ball hit the net with 30 seconds left on the clock. Those seconds elapsed just as those do after or before a corner, throw in or free kick. The referee then blew his whistle, because the match was over. There is no story here. There is no blame on the officials, as you are inferring. The better team won on the day. End of. Hearts deserve almighty credit for what they have achieved this year. I wrote an in depth piece on the impact Bloom would have at the start of the season, as published on my website. I wish them every success in the future and look forward to them redoubling their efforts next season. The country is in enough of a mess without our elected representatives spreading a misleading narrative irresponsibly. Every club has a minority who cause issues. Hearts, Rangers, Celtic and the rest. Surely congratulations to Celtic, and congratulations and commiserations to Hearts ought to have been the order of the day 🤷‍♂️

It would appear the fan who attacked either the Celtic coach or a police officer was in the away end at Tynecastle today. Anyone else remember when Rangers said fans would be dealt with accordingly? Instead of a ban, he’s somehow ended up with a ticket for one of the smallest
