This is just like the 2010s cloud rush—everyone jumped in, thinking it was the smart move, and later realised running their own hardware was cheaper and more sustainable. Looks like miners on Foundry are sleepwalking into the same trap. The fees they’re paying and the compliance overhead are a massive drain on future growth. Maybe losing money is the only thing that wakes them up. Who’s going to step up and show these miners just how much they’re leaving on the table? @compass_mining?

A memecoin is a zero-sum* lottery. There is no wealth creation. Every buy order is simply matched by a sell order. And after an initial spike, the price eventually crashes and the last buyers lose everything. * It’s actually negative sum if the platform takes a cut.
