Its funny people talk up the importance of low skill migration, Uber drivers, hospitality staff etc. Then complain about the RBA raising rates. Its all part of the same calculus. If large swathes migration intake suppresses productivity growth, then the "speed limit" the economy can grow without it being inflationary is lowered. And you end up pretty much where we are now, with a lot of folks going backwards.
