I agree and business leaders who have a contrary opinion to the doomsday narrative need to articulate WHY AI isn’t going to take jobs, ruin communities, or kill people. What’s the counter, tangible solution that can be discussed around kitchen tables. “We need to beat China” isn’t enough.

Everyone is focused on what we can take from people of businesses to redistribute wealth and make things “fair”. Why not focus on what actions can be taken that are additive through employee ownership and market participation?
Everyone is worried about data center water. The concern is misplaced. Here is the real issue in the American West.
🚨Lake Mead just hit its LOWEST level since the 1930s🚨 As the West searches for water, California refuses to build new dams, reservoirs, or desalination plants. Hundreds of millions of gallons of water pour back to the ocean every year while the West runs dry.
Fascinating. Some data centers came to a struggling town in Washington state. Did it run out of water? Was the community destroyed? Let’s see. The town…built a new high school, hospital, library, sewage systems, and police & fire stations. Poverty fell from 29% to 6%. Oh.
