I don't like this odd expectation that every ARPG or game needs to be the end all be all of games. From my perspective games like Last Epoch aren't infinitely repayable, they're seasonal. You build towards making the game progressively easier until you're bored and move on.

Pre ordering things as a practice has gotten dumber. If you’re a digital gamer anyways. Nothing stops you from waiting until the review period to know if a games worth buying. It’s not as if the copies are gonna run out digitally. For physical. Just Amazon it on day of release.
If you buy Tarkov after this disaster you send a clear signal to every dev/publisher that this nonsense is okay. Spend your money on literally anything less greedy and make a statement. This is how horse armor becomes normalized.
