This is the same Mamdani who spent years attacking me for not spending enough during the migrant crisis. The only reason those reserves exist is because I ignored him and his socialist comrades who demanded we blow billions more with no guardrails. “Free” isn’t free. It’s just a bill someone else has to pay.

On the IRS.gov website, the "log in" button was not in the top right on the navbar like it is on most websites. It was weirdly placed in the middle of the page below the fold. An IRS engineer explained that the *soonest* this change could get deployed is July 21st... 103 days from now. This engineer worked with the DOGE team to delete the red tape and accomplished the task in 71 minutes. See before/after pictures below. There are great people at the IRS, who are simply being strangled by bureaucracy.

Lebanon was the only Christian-majority nation in the Middle East. It's where I was born. We prided ourselves on inclusivity. Always welcoming Arab Muslim refugees from all over the Middle East. We had the best economy despite having no natural oil. The best universities. They called Beirut the "Paris of the Middle East" and the Mountains of Lebanon was a tourist destination. My early childhood was idyllic, my father was a prosperous businessman in town and my mother was at home with me, an only child. Slowly, the Arab Muslims began to become the majority in Lebanon and our rights began to wither away. Soon, we would find ourselves unable to leave our small Christian town without fear of being stopped and killed by Arabs. In Lebanon your religion is on your government issued ID. As the war intensified and the radical Islamists made their way south, my home was hit by an errant rocket and my life was forever changed. We spent the next almost decade in a bomb shelter, scraping together pennies and eating dandelions and roots just to survive. If it was not for Israel coming in and surrounding our town, I do not know If I would be here today. Lebanon is now a country 100% controlled and run by Hezbollah. I lost my country of birth. I thank God every single day I was able to immigrate to America and live out the dream that BILLIONS of people only dream of having. Now here in America, my adopted country that I have come to love so much, I see the same threats and warning signs happening now that took place in Lebanon when I was a child. This is my warning to you, America, reverse course now while you still can. It's not too late to save our freedom and preserve it for the next generation.

In 2012, @BarackObama set a red line with Syria on the use of chemical weapons. A year later, Assad gassed and killed 1,400 non-combatants. We did nothing. In 2014, Putin invaded Crimea. We did nothing. In September 2021, we abandoned Afghanistan in a sloppy withdrawal leading to the collapse of the country, handing our weapons and control to the Taliban. In Feb. 2022, Putin invaded Ukraine. Since that time, we have slow-walked our military support for @Ukraine, failing to give them the armaments they need to win the war. In our most recent budget debt crisis, we took @Ukraine out of the budget to keep the government temporarily open. If Russia wins the war, we are handing control of the world’s bread basket to Russia, and Putin’s power and aspirations will only grow. On September 18th, we agreed to release $6 billion to Iran, but ‘only for humanitarian purposes’ in exchange for five Americans. I remind us all that money is fungible. $6 billion for food and medical supplies frees up $6 billion Iran can use for terrorism and war. And I thought we had a policy of not negotiating with terrorists. Why did Hamas invade Israel last night? Because the United States has consistently not kept its word on its foreign policy commitments and we look very weak. Terrorism loves a leadership vacuum and we have created one. We are politically divided. Our president is physically and cognitively challenged. And we are wavering on the commitment we made to @Ukraine to give them the weapons they need to win the war. The world has become a much more dangerous place because we have not kept our word. This needs to stop now or, dare I say, hell is coming. The world is a much safer place when the US leads, and it quickly can become a living hell when we fail to do so. Now is the time for our government and Congress to show strength, solidarity and leadership and to follow through on our commitments to our allies and the world order. We owe nothing less to our children.
