Bitcoin's current drawdown has reached approximately -49.7%, making it the fourth major correction since the 2024 halving. Given the intense competition for investor capital across tech and AI, the fact that BTC is holding up this well shouldn't be overlooked.
The current Bitcoin correction is a good reminder that volatility and failure are not the same thing. A drawdown of -49.7% is uncomfortable, but compared to prior cycles, this remains a fairly healthy retracement within a larger long-term trend.
