Just started a new job. Wanted to make a good impression. Started arriving 8am. First day... I was first. Rest of the week my boss was already there. Pushed to 7:30... he beat me again. Tried 7:00 on Monday. Tuesday he was already at his desk. I had to ask him after work. "What time do you even get here?" Turns out... Management policy says all managers must arrive before the first staff member. And leave after the last. So my early coming... Was forcing this man out of bed at dawn. Tomorrow I'm resuming 8:30. And never coming early again. 😂

Every six months I become convinced that my entire life is falling apart simply because I don't have the right notebook. I tell myself I just need a specialized planner to unlock my ultimate productivity potential. Yesterday I spent $80 on a leather-bound journal shipped directly from Japan. The website claimed it was used by historical geniuses to orchestrate their masterpieces. The journal arrived today and the layout is absolutely terrifying. Each page is divided into a micro-grid with sections for hourly intentions, habit tracking, and gratitude mapping. I don't have hourly intentions. My intention from 2 to 3PM is to stare at a spreadsheet and try not to fall asleep with my eyes open. There's a designated box that asks me to write down my one defining metric of success for the day. My defining metric is leaving the office at exactly 5PM without making eye contact with my manager. I also bought a set of specialized fine-tip pens because using a generic pen would disrespect the archival-quality paper and ruin the aesthetic. I sat down at my desk and carefully wrote my name on the inside cover. My handwriting looked sloppy and uneven. The aesthetic was immediately ruined. I felt like I had defiled a sacred ancient artifact. I tried to fill out the daily habit tracker but realized my only consistent daily habit is drinking too much iced coffee. I checked off the coffee box and left the hydration, meditation, and stretching boxes entirely blank. I'm too intimidated to actually write any mundane tasks in it. Instead, I wrote my grocery list on the back of a utility bill envelope. I'm going to put the $80 notebook in a drawer with the three other blank notebooks I bought last year. I will repeat this exact financial mistake in November.

@ggiste The maximum amount this salary can buy is a bed sitter in Mlolongo. Since this is hypothetical, 65k rent is living in the poverty zone. The best advice is to move to some cheaper rental and safe. Use the money to better self in multiple competent hierarchies

@WashiraX It is general knowledge that bad debt are treated as expenses, actually the law doesn't allow. I think branch failed in the documentation to prove worthlessness. Tax tribunal did allow something similar with Fourth Generation capital
