Yay the constant palpitations have returned with a vengeance - started without warning in handover. Have a normal ECG so that’s good! (perks of this happening at work) However back at home waiting for a GP call back.
I just saw an article saying they’re going to stop GPs from giving fit notes and that the power will be given to ‘specialised work and health professionals’. All because, shock horror, some people have long and enduring mental health issues. Way to be discriminatory 👏🏻

What did your wedding bouquet look like? (It was almost twenty years ago. Our flower theme was burgundy and lime green. I frantically worked on the church & reception flowers whilst my mate’s shop did my bouquet and the buttonholes. I’d have something completely different now!)
@xolisajane i did my back in doing deadlifts and i got a massage and it really did help the pain. as painkillers, stretching, hot water & my TENS machine weren’t cutting it. have you tried TENS machine?
If you’re unwell over the weekend you should get time back in lieu during the week
@xolisajane Have you tried TENS? I got mine quite cheap on Amazon, and it's great when my dodgy knee is particularly dodgy, and my dodgy neck too.
@xolisajane Hot baths with Epsom salts and Radox muscle relief bubble bath, hot water bottles, kind of lay on top of it when you’re in bed or lean on it when sitting on a chair. Voltarol gel, deep heat pain heat patches, and if it’s a long term thing I recommend investing in a TENs machine!
?Controversial opinion: driving instructors shouldn't let learners drive at 5-10mph on a main road 🚗 I get it might be a first lesson, but in that case I think the instructor should drive to industrial estate/housing estate/quiet car park

@mouseter_chef Is it absurd though? Cost of a couch £3.99 per roll, not including cost of disposal of used couch roll. Multiplied across every couch in every OPD? That probably adds up to a not insignificant saving… If it’s not necessary, get rid of it.
@mouseter_chef Genuinely, I believe our most effective money saving will be in things like this. The big stuff is expensive. It just is. But using much less of the cheaper things will potentially add up to cumulative big savings.

Simon was given 20% chance of getting a stent into the bile duct to reduce jaundice & hopefully give him a bit more energy. The stent is *IN* & I am thanking all the thoughts, prayers & surgeons🤞 1 day at a time but this might have a really good quality of life effect🤞
