It's interesting to hear complaints about an American ambassador supposedly being "isolated" in Denmark. A few years ago, many Europeans laughed when President Trump @realDonaldTrump warned that NATO members needed to spend more on defense and stop relying on the United States to guarantee their security. He was mocked, dismissed, and told he didn't understand Europe. Then Russia invaded Ukraine. Suddenly, nobody was laughing. Back then, Trump was the one standing alone. Today we're told that Ambassador Ken Howery @USAmbDenmark is standing alone because the United States is taking Greenland seriously. But perhaps the real question is: where were all these concerns when China was expanding its influence in Greenland through investments, infrastructure projects, and strategic resource interests? Nobody seemed worried about Chinese influence in one of the world's most strategically important regions. Nobody suggested that the Chinese ambassador should be socially isolated. The reality is simple: Greenland matters. It matters for Arctic security, for NATO, for Europe, and for North America. If Denmark and Europe failed to recognize the strategic challenge posed by China and Russia, that doesn't make the American response the problem. Instead of criticizing the United States for acting, perhaps some should ask why they were so comfortable watching a strategic vacuum emerge in the first place.

While it is encouraging to see sectors such as energy and mining receiving greater attention and investment, it is essential that Argentina does not lose its agricultural strength.
