Það er ekki "tölfræðileg staðreynd" að Íslendingar séu að lenda í minnihluta í eigin landi, það gefur sér þá forsendu að næstu áratugi muni ca. enginn aðfluttur Íslendingur í raun vera Íslendingur. Jafnvel þau sem munu hafa búið hér í áratugi.

Minni líka á að þjóðarhugtakið sjálft er bara nokkur hundruð ára gamalt, svo það er dálítið langt seilst að tala um upphaf mannkyns 😄

En það er tilgangslaust að reyna að breyta skoðun fólks á merkingu orða. Skiptir mestu að vera meðvituð um mismunandi skilning á þeim.
