As I became more and more successful I started to get deeply depressed. Because I realized that this thing I had spent so much time on and sacrificed so much for didn’t bring me any happiness. And with that I had to accept that nothing I achieved would ever make me happy.

There’s a word for people that pretend they can’t do anything so other people will do it for them. I can’t remember what it is. Maybe someone can tell me?

Sometimes it’s not until I actually write down my thoughts that I realize how nonsensical they are.

Netanyahu is trying to undermine one of the core building blocks of democracy. It’s every authoritarians dream to be able to control the judicial system. If he succeeds, others will follow.

Anytime I post an existential dilemma on here a line of men forms with their solutions. My dude, I’m not asking you to solve anything, I’m sharing my soul. Just listen and let’s be uncomfortable together.

I love to create but it’s extremely hard for me to enjoy what I make. We had a tasting @AnnaJona tonight and everyone else was enjoying themselves, the food, drinks and atmosphere. But all I could think about was what we could improve. It’s exhausting.

People keep saying that people will adapt to AI like we did to other tech revolutions. But the scale and the speed of progress in AI will dwarf anything we’ve ever experienced before. The technology will have impact far faster than our ability to adapt our societies.

In the near future, the potential for AI is extremely interesting and exciting. In the not too distant future the potential for AI is absolutely mindbendingly terrifying.

@ps5_expert_play Oppressed groups all share a common thread. Poor people everywhere should unite. The divisions are only to the benefit of the oppressors.

And yes, they should have those rights, they should be part of the AllLives group but they aren't. They are excluded, deemed less than, marginalized, oppressed and hated. Just for being themselves. Just for being born and wanting to live like everyone else.

People that AllLivesMatter the trans (or any other oppressed group) discussion are simultaneously misunderstanding and agreeing with the points being made. The sad fact is we need to point out that there are groups that don't have the same rights as everyone else.

Trans people deserve love and respect. To live their lives free from people questioning their identity. To live without fear or alienation. To dress how they want. Love who the want. Feel what they feel. Dream what they dream. Have a family. Or not. All of this and more.

It's amazing that the right has been able to mobilize poor people. They create and maintain the class and power structures that hold them down and they are still able to get their support.

Personally (and I know this is very controversial), I think the potential for harm here is so massive that serious restrictions on further development and use of these products (until we’ve come up with adequate safeguards) should be considered.

We’re about to enter a world where we will have no way to know if any image or video is real or not. And we seem to have no plan for how to deal with that.

A good story doesn’t need to be a lie. A compelling story can (and should be) true. But it’s not enough to be right all the time. You won’t move people to action by having the most correct statistic. You need to know how to package the truth in a way that drives people forward.

People on the left have most of the facts on their side but still manage to lose because they can’t tell enough emotionally compelling simple stories.
