@Luster369 @TheDefiApe Great question! Traders review evidence and trade based on their personal belief. Winning side gets $1. Losing side $0. Resolution depends on evidence. Markets resolve at high-level of confidence (e.g., 95%). If we don't get there, users still get paid at last trusted price.

TRENDING: The market on whether COVID originated in a Wuhan lab is trading at 82¢ for ‘True’. @chamath on @theallinpod earlier: “The last time we heard the word lab in the social consciousness was during COVID. And there was a lab that was responsible for a leak of a virus that then killed 15 million people all around the world and caused $45 trillion of damage. It’s the Wuhan Lab.” One of the ‘True’ arguments currently cited on the Verifact market aligns with the claim: an early 2025 German intelligence report, which had remained confidential for years, assessed a Wuhan laboratory origin as 80-95% likely.
