@JackHadfield14 The evidence for neuroplastic or nociplastic illness is not slam dunk, but it is fairly robust as a theoretical model, and it is being applied to conditions (migraine, IBS, back pain, fibromyalgia, dizziness) for which medical science has no actionable diagnosis.

@jewstein3000 @Fionas_Story @RBMD1982 I don’t think the issue here is whether cognitive effects delimit whether or not a condition or symptom set can be treated with reprocessing therapy. Many purely “physical” maladies have been treated this way: back pain, migraine, pelvic pain, fibro, often with full remission.

There is no direct correlation with either covid infection or long covid per se (most long covid sufferers do not have elevated IGE) and there is no evidence of viral causation.
